SSS RizalThe province of Rizal in Region IV-A is one of the neighboring provinces of Metro Manila. It is composed of 13 municipalities namely Angono, Baras, Binangonan, Cainta, Cardona, Jalajala, Morong, Pililla, Rodriguez, San Mateo, Tanay, Taytay, and Teresa
with Antipolo City as the provincial capital. Because of its close proximity to Metro Manila, the province of Rizal became one of the most progressive provinces in the country and is considered as the country’s next business capital due to its strategic geographical location. And because of this, the Social Security System established 7 branches in 6 municipalities of Rizal province.

SSS Relocated Branch Opens in Roxas City

For the benefit of those who wish to know the location of the SSS offices in
the province of Capiz, we have gathered and posted below the details on the
locations of both SSS branches in the seafood capital of the Philippines
which is the province of Capiz.

The western visayas province of Capiz is located at the northeastern portion
of Panay Island with the provinces of Aklan and Antique bordering the western
part of the island and the province of Iloilo bordering the southern part.
It’s capital, Roxas City, is currently the location of the two SSS branches
in the province including the newly relocated SSS branch office along Arnaldo
Boulevard. This newly relocated branch office in Roxas City was formally
opened last June 28, 2017 and will be serving more than 35,000 employers and
SSS members at the ground floor of City Mall Roxas. The other SSS branch
office in Roxas City is operating in Robinsons Place located in Barangay
Lawa-an, Roxas City.

SSS Membership

First of all, before you can be a member of SSS or Social Security System, you must first be employed in an occupation subject to and reported for SSS coverage before you can become a bonafide SSS member which is a lifetime membership. Under Section 24 of the SS Law, employers must require job applicants to present a valid SSS number before they can be considered for employment. The contributions that your employer remit become savings for the future and will serve as the basis for for your SSS benefits in times of contingencies. Membership cannot be withdrawn and contributions paid cannot refunded and issuance of an SSS number does not immediately qualify you for SSS coverage or benefits. Continue reading →
